New art...finally!

Along with doing some semi-fun commercial art, I've had time to put together a pin-up for Neil Vokes' Eagle compilation, a dinosaur spread for a pillowcase art kit and a Glenn Danzig pin-up for Panel-2-Panel's latest magazine. Bill Anderson is inking the Eagle and Danzig pieces while I'm handling the Dino's.

Did Bill Anderson work for Comico once upon a time?

Yes he did. He started out working with Matt Wagner and a few other artists on the Comico Primer. Then he moved onto Marvel and other comics.

I did work for Comico from just after they started, right up until the bankruptcy. I actually had a full issue of the never-published Atomiclones in my studio, and was just about to start inking it when they announced the bankruptcy.

Who pencilled that book? Sounds like when I was working for Dark Moon out of Connecticut. I was coloring pages for one book and I had started pencilling a third issue of my book, Thespian when I called the office wondering if we would get checks that week. When I was informed there was no money, I told them I don't work for free and then called all the other creators and got the Hell out of Dodge.

I'm really sorry to bother you, but I was searching for Christmas presents and came across your comic series "Swords of Shar Pei." My sister owns a Shar Pei and I thought it would make a funny gift for her but I can't find anywhere online a synopsis of the story line!! She's 23 so I'm not worried about it being age appropriate or not but I didn't want to get her something that would end up not being of interest to her. Thank you for any help you can offer me!

Paris Cullins was the penciller. It was a good-looking book, too bad it never came out.
